About Amanda
Born in Windsor, I was baptized into the Church of England, confirmed
into the Church of Wales and I studied for my first
honors
degree at a Methodist College. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music and
Environmental Studies from the University of London, and I did my seminary
training at La Sainte Union and Samaritan College in Europe.
I was called to Wilmington in May 1998 by St. Jude's Metropolitan Community
Church to be their senior pastor, where I served for eleven years. All of
which suggests I am qualified from a 'churched' point of view to officiate
ceremonies. Actually what makes me far more qualified to help you is my
heart! I genuinely care.
I am a seminary educated, ordained ecumenical minister. I offer
religious, interfaith, spiritual, and civil ceremonies, both traditional and
contemporary, in an inclusive language (with an English accent) that connects
everyone.
